Hi Folks,
here are some images I captured while visiting to the XIV Los Rios Region which sits the little city of Valdivia.
I traveled by boat quite a bit while going back and forth from Valdivia and Chaihuin. This area reminds me of the Seattle Sound in Washington state as it is very wet and is called the Valdivian Jungle for the old growth areas that have not been clear cut to make way for eucalyptus and Pine tree farms. You can rent a small inexpensive multi room cabanas all along the coast and experience fog white outs, thick rain storms as well as great sunny days in this place. After three months in the city heat, this place was a wonderful get away.
