Out With The Old And In With The New: Happy New Year 2019 From Santiago, Chile

As the sun sets on 2018 in Santiago, Chile as we move forward into 2019.

Happy New Year everybody!

 Here I am with my lovely wife Lidice, our nephew Jose Miguel, my father-in-law Hernan, my mother-in-law Coralia, Nelly, Lidice's brother in law Jose Patricio and her sister and my sister in law Coralia. We had a nice dinner and then I took some photos of the fireworks at midnight here in Santiago.

The sun sets on the city of Santiago and the golden hour begins for photographers.

 The crisscross  effect is a safety feature on many apartment high-rise terraces here in Chile.

Enter 2019.

And then, the fireworks started to bring in the new year.
