this past weekend my wife and I took a drive to Con Con a small seaside town with a great view of Vina del Mar. We played dominos, cards and ate some nice meals while pretty much laying about the nice apartment that over looks the Pacific Ocean in Chile. Vina del Mar is getting bigger all the time and instead of developing further inland they are going up, up and up with new skyscrapers. None of these tall buildings were in Vina the last time I was in Chile in 2007. The small town of Con Con recently had some of their shore front restaurants destroyed when a tsunami hit them a couple of months ago when we had all those earthquakes further up north in Coquimbo near La Serena.
My photography was rather limited this weekend as I only got out to go for a short walk and then again to toss some frisbee on the beach.
The view of Vina del Mar
I would hate to be on this lighted pathway when the next earthquake hits.
The gang on the balcony.
Brunch of Pisco Sours.
Like everybody else Chileans are hooked on selfies.
